WHAT WE DO AND WHERE WE WORK
It's not easy saving every deer from being a victim of being hit by a car or truck on the freeways and streets, but our goal is to try our best to secure some places that allow easy access to these busy traffic areas. We also can help clean up the dead deer that are killed and avoid having people see the bodies lay on the streets and freeways until they rot away.

INTENTIONS AND GOALS
Our intention is to make Wisconsin a more beautiful place to live by achieving our goal of preventing deer from being killed on our roads, streets and freeways.
Community-Based-Conservation
Community-based conservation is a conservation movement that emerged in the 1980s, in response to escalating protests and subsequent dialogue with local communities affected by international attempts to protect the biodiversity of the earth. Endearing The Deer, Inc. is determined to do our part in conserving our communities and encouraging others to get involved in caring enough to join us.
Protect Deer Population
Environmental Policy
Deer-vehicle collisions (DVCs) are one of the most visible negative impacts that deer populations have on society. As managing deer involves balancing the positive benefits of deer with their negative impacts, it makes sense to consider DVCs when making deer management decisions.
The legislature...declares that it is the continuing policy of this state, in cooperation with other governments, and other concerned public and private organizations, to use all practicable means and measures…to create and maintain conditions under which man[kind] and nature can exist in productive harmony, and fulfill the social, economic, and other requirements of present and future generations.
